Red Blood Cell Count

Low RBC suggest anemia. High RBC can indicate lung disease, too little oxygen..

White Blood Cell Count

High WBC usually means infections. Rarely it can mean blood cancer. Low WBC can be seen in viral infections, drug reactions, etc.

Differential Count

This is a test of the different types of white blood cells. Abnormal count may mean allergy, infection, parasites, etc.

Coagulation Studies

These include PT and PTT to detect bleeding disorders such as hemophilia.

Platelet Count

High platelet count may be seen in blood cancers. Low count may mean malaria, viral infection, etc.
