Ophthalmology

Eyes are the most precious organs of the body. As some philosopher said, they are the windows to our soul. Unfortunately, they are the most neglected organs of our body.

Care of eyes should begin early, from childhood, so that they may remain healthy. An ophthalmic checkup at preschool stage is mandatory to exclude any kind of refractive error, or any other problem that may impair vision at a later stage. When diagnosed and treated properly at this age, many diseases can be cured.

As the child starts going to school the burden on the eyes gradually increases. One has to strain his eyes constantly to read, write, watch TV, computer, etc. At this point it becomes very essential to learn how to give rest to the eyes and relax them.
