Scanning
What is Scanning?
Though sonography is also a type of scanning, by-and-large, scanning is synonymous with CT-Scan and MRI-Scan.

What is CT-Scan?
CT-Scan forms the secondary line of investigative modality. In this, small image sections of the involved organ are taken by x-rays and the computer does the re-construction, thus helping to study the finer details.
What is MRI-Scan?
MRI-Scan forms the secondary line of investigative modality. In this, small image sections are taken in 3-Dimensions of the involved organ by magnetic waves, and the computer does the re-construction, thus helping to study the finer details.
What is PET-Scan?
PET-Scan helps in studying the functioning of the tissues, thus enabling evaluation of functional brain disorders and cancer cells.
